There’s two houses always popping in my mind these days. And for a reason I don’t know, both are named “House K”…, but are not designed by the same architects… and are not talking the same language either. The first one is by Yoshichika Takagi + Sekkei-Sha and is located in Sapporo, Japan (2010). It’s a house filled up with smaller houses, if I can say. The second one (2005), covered by black painted plywood, is by Tham & Videgärd Arkitekter, and is located in Stocksund, Stockholm, Sweden. What I like here is the materiality of the façades, and the window composition.
