Installations by Graham Caldwell

Brooklyn-based artist Graham Caldwell creates glass-based installations which explore issues about surveillance, threat and self-obsession. Using many separate glass parts, usually mounted to a wall by metal fastenings, Caldwell arranges the glass objects so that they reflect off each other and mirror the space in the gallery as well as the viewer looking at them.

Musashino Art University Library by Sou Fujimoto

Here is the new Musashino Art University Library, Kodaira, Tokyo. The library is designed as a spiral of wooden bookshelves, covered in glass for the exterior façades. The roof let pass natural light all over the building. There’s visibly some place for books for at least the next ten generations… Love it. Anyway, I think I love everything coming out of Sou Fujimoto office.
